***The Spanish government approved the Sustainable Economy Law draft on 19 March 2010. The law allows the closure of websites linking to illegal copyrighted content.
The Sustainable Economy Law (in Spanish) is an anti-economic crisis law which includes anti-piracy provisions.
The approved draft is setting up an Intellectual Property Commission that would have the power to denounce websites offering links to illegal content. The High Court would then have the authority to decide to close such websites.
